I think it is just more of a delay but it makes it a non issue whereas on Microsoft RDP, Jump Desktop, Royal TSX, etc. I use a remote desktop client with smart card authorization on the. That aside, while Parallels still doesn't let you stop the menu bar and dock from showing up when you hover the mouse at the top and bottom of the screen, they have built in some kind of handling that makes it a lot more workable than any other RDP client out there.
ROYAL TSX RDP CLIENT FULL
i have confirmed nothing like this happens when I am in full screen using the Microsoft RDP app. Jump Desktop however is for those that are new to Remote Desktop Connections and want something that makes things easy.

CoRD is more for those that know what they're doing - it's simple, stable, fast and reliable. It is a neat feature I suppose but should not be the default and you should be able to turn it off. In my experienced opinion, CoRD and Jump Desktop are the best RDP clients for Mac.
ROYAL TSX RDP CLIENT INSTALL
If this option is not set, Advanced Server Access attempts to use Royal TSX, and then MacFreeRDP if Royal TSX is unavailable. That means, before you can actually connect to any remote computer, you have to install the plugin required for that particular connection. The most annoying issue currently is that when you are in a full screen remote session, the Parallels client seems to enable Do Not Disturb on the Windows side so you do not receive any of your notifications. sft config rdp.fullscreen true sft config rdp.fullscreen false: rdp.client (macOS only) Set this to your preferred RDP client, either royaltsx for Royal TSX, or macfreerdp for MacFreeRDP. It gives you better control over your remote desktop experience compared to the Misrosoft RDP app but this one still has some minor issues you should be aware of.
